Thanks for looking out for me Don, but you know TC's OCD will complete that task ASAP.   ;)    The seat arrived Friday evening, he Glared it yesterday and installed it.

That's good to hear (as if there was ever any doubt!).

Ok Diva, Terry has shared bike comparisons from the front position.  What do the differences feel like from the pillion?

That's easy.  Certainly is a contrast the way it is.  Great pics too.  Thanks for sharing.  This pillion looks narrower than was the SEUC's.  How's Diva describing the comparison?

Comparison, what comparision?   As long as I'm riding with such a good tour guide as Terry, I'm happy.   :-*

Awesome pics Terry. Gotta get down that way to see first hand. Whadyathink of the ride on your new scoot. Got enough miles for a comparative analysis?

North Alabama is beautiful, Howie....South of where I live, it's just farmland 'till you get to the Gulf, then beautiful beaches to be enjoyed...only 4 hours from my house.

The bike only has about 1500 miles on it, but so far, I love the bike.  Like any other bike, I've got to make it mine...have begun that process with the windshield, seat, and a few other trinkets.  The bike handles really well...tracks like it's on a rail, and is easy to pitch over into a turn.  The suspension is good...not great...but good.  Better than my HD was in stock form, but not as good, of course, as after I had done the Traxxion, etc.  But Traxxion does Star bikes too, and there's this nice little Ohlin unit with remote adjustable preload I've got my eye on.  The stock tires are Bridgestones...they are noisy, but offer a nice ride.  The rear is an oddball size...Avon Cobras will go on when these wear out, unless some better offering comes out between now and then.  Stock exhaust has a nice deep note to it, so it's staying.  Hydraulic clutch, so no surprises there...very good brakes.  The engine is very nice, with lots of low end grunt, and plenty there when you need it for a quick pass.  There's more in there, and wouldn't take much to get it out...just some more air in, and a PCIII/tune.  That will be the last thing I do, as there is plenty there now, with it being a 113" out of the crate.  It likes to run between 60-80mph, which suits me fine...will hit tripple digits in a heartbeat when you want it to.

and a PCIII/tune.

When the bike is ready pick a weekend and come up to Golden's.  We'll ride.  We'll get tuned.  We'll eat.  We'll drink.  Just leave Toby at home.  That bird scares me.

Don, the pillion was only sat on for one day before I got it.  The seat had about 2K on it...feels good though.  Suzanne has got to get hers broken in, but she had no complaints spending a few hours in it today...it's actually a bit wider than the stock unit, and has a cupped portion, so I thing after a few hundred more miles both sections will be broken it to our respective rear ends...

A man just can't help but twist it every once in a while, ya know...despite the occasional rap on the helmet, or squeeze with the knees.

Sound like a plan to me...will be next year for sure.  The additional variable with this motor is the dual 43mm TB's...they have to be synchronized every several thousand miles...no biggie.  Have to do more exploring on options for the intake side...dual, or just open up the air box like I did on the Vrod.  From what I'm reading, there's another 10-12 on both sides that comes pretty easy.  It's about like a stock 110 right now, maybe just a touch more.
