about 6 weeks on the way when the dealer orders immediately , about 3 month when the dealer is a typical one , Muhuhuhahaha ( however it should make me crying , but that wouldn`t help either)

everyone, let go of this, the seat will never be 100% correct, it's a stock HD seat. save yourself the aggravation and get a custom seat, or one from the many other Manuf's out there.

Mine didn't have the gap when I picked it up... but after 1100 miles of riding in 3 days... it does now.  :-\

Also failed to heed the "watch out for your saddle bag bolt coming lose" warning... headed back to the dealer when they open tomorrow.  :soapbox:

I thought I was one of the lucky ones.  No gap until I hit the 400 nile mark and now a 1 inch gap while sitting on the seat and a 1/4 inch gap when not sitting.  From reading the posts on here and what I can see, it seems like the seat pan is bending over time in a banana shape and the gap gets progressively bigger with time.  I stopped by the dealer and they are checking on a new seat but regardless of what the dealer does, time to look at the wide world of aftermarket seats!  Life is too short to keep fighting this fight with the MoCo.

Perhaps one could make the bottom of the stock seat stronger , with the help of metal , but it is not comfort enough that this would be worth to do , i guess .

Well, I got the same problem.  Dealer sent pix to the MoCO and they gave me the same line about my bike being built after they fixed the problem.  What I don't understand is, how can they say it is fixed when they are looking at a picture that shows the gap?!?!?

This is how the seat looks after the replacement.  Anyone seeing this?  I will be calling MoCo tomorrow.
