Had mine in for service this week and the dealer installed a new mounting bracket, it seems to have taken care of the problem, we'll see how long it lasts.

I just called my dealer. They looked up the number you listed and said it is a stock FLTRSE3 seat, same OEM seat that came with all FLTRSE3s. AFAIK, and i did just speak to my dealer, there still is no fix for this POS seat. I'm glad it didn't cost you anything but I think someone is feeding you a line of chit if they are telling you there is a new, longer seat to fix this issue. Perhaps you could measure your seat end to end. My stock seat is roughly 30 inches nose to tail. How long is your "longer" seat?

I have measurements of the New Seat but didn't take any of the Old Seat to compare to.

I will list the measurements here and try to include photos. (1st attempt crashed, burned and littered the side of the road.)

Front seam to rear seam - 30.5"
Front seam to rear of bracket - 31.5"
Bracket - 3.75"
Front seam to slot 5.5"
Front seam level above/below to slot - 4.5"

Found a great way to get my rear in gear since we've had so much rain, and since I've got my seat off to measure.
It was nice of the AM/PM to let me use their restroom for this bit of info! ::)

Seat against Console

What does it look like when you sit on it?  That is the $32000.00 question?   Got any pics of that?

And not on the toilet either!   lol thanks for the funny!
