Got to try mine today, 14 in, its livable with the lowers, its amazing how much lowers cut down the turbulence around your head, I would not be a happy camper with just the shield. Looks A+ wind protection C.

Looks like it would be a 13" , nice . :2vrolijk_21:

From all I've seen and heard, IMO, if you're 5'11 3/4"and up, get the 15". at 6ft the 14 is to short. unless you're long legged and short waisted

Larry,  do you think you can still easily see over the 15" if you're 6'2" but getting older and slouching some?  I want the dark shield but want to see easily over it.  I've sat on the bike and tried to measure and I seem to be right between the two for height of the shield.
Thanks,
Steve

13” for riders 5’6” to 5’10”
14” for riders 5’11” to 6’1”
15” for riders 6’2” to 6’4”
16” for riders 6’5” or taller      Just thought this would be informative for the Cee Bailey's shield. :2vrolijk_21:

I'm about 6'2" but I know I tend to slouch some (too old) so I think I'm going to go with the 14".  If I can't stand it I guess someone will get a chance to buy a slightly used windshield at a discount!

Received the CB and had enough time to open the box.  All problems corrected and it looks great.  We're out of town now so it will be a week before I can report on how well it works.

Skippy49, do yourself a favor.

Order the recommended size. If it's too tall for you, Cee Bailey's will cut it down for you. You pay the shipping back to them. They cut it down, polish it up and send it back for free. That's according to Joe.

Based on my height, 5'10", I was supposed to order the 13". I ordered the 14" and I am very happy with it. However, I am long-waisted and tend to sit a bit tall in the saddle for my height.

LKN, thanks for the pics and posts.  We are planning the first out of towner on SERG for Memorial Day, so will likely purchase the Cee Bailey 14 or 15" before then.  Should have read these before purchasing the KW (looks can be deceiving).   :soapbox:

sem_bunda:    I changed my order to the 15" and it was still too short for me so I ended up selling it at a substantial discount.  So if you decide to try the CB be sure and order one plenty tall enough.

My carpeted room was a garage that was converted to a game room by the previous owner. I am converting it to a Harley garage. It has Central air and heat. A sunken lift, a wet bar and more. The bikes park in the enclosed Garage extention in front of this room. I will post some pics when its finished.

The backrest - not sure which pic you saw but the bike is set up with a solo seat and the backrest is attatched to the foward mounted tour pak.
