Excellent!! Slowly, but surely, it seems MoCo getting its corp. head out of its azz. Heres to all getting satsifaction.
Mike, I'm not sure that's at all what it sounds like. If the head is being removed from such rarified environs it's only because customer's such as yourself are standing behind their ass kicking and screaming and pulling as hard as you can to get it out of there.
For too many of you this has not been a solution but a trial. Of wills. Of patience. Of fortitude that should never have had to have been exercised.
The MoCo should get very few cudos for "finally" making something right when many of you have been working with and literally fighting with them for more than year to force them to do as they should have to begin with. Doing it "right" from the start was never their intention.
Instead you've suffered a year compounded for too many by not just the company's and its representatives' unwillingness to simply stand up and make it right; but their willing malfeasance and obfuscation in attempts to get by on the cheap (even when they were willing to do something). They've sent parts obviously previously returned by others. They've denied obviously legitimate warranty and support claims. And they've done all this assuming or hoping that just because they deigned to respond to mere customers that those customers would shiver in gratitude and say "oh thank you great God Harley, may I spend some more."
