DW thanks for the info. Are the spots bright enough to add any light? How would you rate the usefulness? Do you have any pics of them mounted? thanks

Teaser, thanks for the pixs.  Great looking bike also.  W/O starting a separate thread, what kind of windshield is that?  I'm still looking for something that does a good job of blocking wind/rain for my longer trips.

Clearview GT stock hieght. Really like this one. Counting the stock one, this is my fifth windshield but I new going into the SERG that windshields were an issue. This is a little short when I put the Hammock Seat on because it raises me up maybe 2 inches. John at Clearview is great to work with. If I had talked to him first maybe I wouldn't have had to try so many. I will be ordering a little taller one from Clearview this winter.

The Kurakyn's have the right idea with mounting and illumination, but they are just not slick enough to use on our bikes. They just need to be a little less "cartoonish", the castings are rounded, not crisp, look like pot metal. I think they cost the same as the Headwinds which are billet, show chromed and available with a couple different bezel styles, whatever floats your boat there. But the Headwinds just look better. More Refined I guess. I think if you compare the two brands side by side, no choice will exist. And remember if you catch Headwinds guy at an event (Daytona, Sturgis etc) he will deal on price, and probably give you a hat.

Been Googling images to try and figure out which option to go with. I like the Headwinds Mariahs... but haven't found any higher res pics of the Kurys to compare them to.
