I assume the 3 pins are for ground, brake, and running light?

Hey Ya'll-

A quick tip for those without a meter, the wiring to the existing connector on the bike is set up like this...
Blue Wire is the Running Light
Orange w/Yellow Stripe is the Brake Light
Black is Ground

It's an easy install- measure and mark the center of the flex tube (use something that'll wipe off), use a hair dryer to heat up the ends about two inches to the ends and they'll bend like butter.  While it's still flexible hold it up against the tour pac bracket and let it cool so it'll retain its shape.  Hint: wires should be on the left as your looking from the rear of the bike.  Clean the tour pack bracket where the strip will attach with an alchohol pad, let it dry, then pull the protective tape off the double sided tape on the strip and apply the strip to the tour pac bracket starting with the center first, heat up the ends a little more as you wrap the strip around the bends.  Hold it in place for a couple minutes, just to be sure it doesn't pull away.  Voila its attached, now all you've gotta do is wire it in... run the wires through shrink tubing then up through the hole in the tour pack... there is a hole right there at the end of the tube, almost like it was designed that way.  Use the connector and pins you already bought at the dealer...
P/N 73103-96BK, tab housing, 3 position   (female plug)  ---  1 needed
P/N 73190-96 ,  terminal pins    --- 3 needed
Remember- Blue is Running, Orange w/Yellow Stripe is Brake and Black is Ground.
Strip looks great and works well.  Now you're ready to ride.  Total time about 45 minutes... and that's taking it easy.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Mike-
I've read the instruction sheets that come from the MOCO, they go something like this...

"Because we would not make more money if we provided you the detailed instructions in the packaging with the part to install the part that you have recently purchased, we have decided to ramble on here for a full page or maybe two on this printed material as to how you can obtain the instructions to install the part that you have purchased along with some nice pictures of the part, not installed mind you, just pictures of the part itself so that you can look at it while you are sitting on your couch, at a restaurant, or even at the park while playing catch with the kids.  By the way, come to mention it, thank you for your puchase and have a nice day.  For the instructions to install the new part that you just paid x dollars for at the stealer, please return to the stealer and spend x more dollars to purchase the service manual for your model bike.  If that service manual does not contain the specific directions for your part then return to the stealer again to spend x more dollars to purchase the supplement for your specific part.  Remember, you must have all service manuals and supplements including the Greek, Chinese, African, German, Russian, Latin, and English versions of the manuals if you expect to obtain all information for your specific model of bike and even then hopefully our writers have missed something so we can produce another supplement.  By Gosh, if we made it simple then you would not spend more money with us just to install each individual part.  Thank you for your purchase(s) and have a nice day!!!"  :P

That was GREAT Reb!

I bought a CHROME RADIO TRIM bezel last night, a small ring that fits around the radio and lower 2" guages.  The instructions say to stick it on.  If the CD door does not have enough clearance, TAKE THE FRONT FAIRING OFF AND ADJUST RADIO.  SEE SHOP SERVICE MANUAL.

Sheesh, a $20 stick on part with 3 hours of installation time! [smiley=thumbsdown.gif]

;D Rebel, if you don't write for a living, you should!  Great instructions; if only I had a tour pak. [smiley=vrolijk_24.gif]

UltraPolecat, I was considering that piece of dashboard bling, but heck if I'm gonna take the fairing off for it! [smiley=thumbdown.gif]   Thanks for the heads-up!

Where did you get the antennas?
