To clarify my earlier simple response - hope this helps!

The original set up - they were always in the way! Both up and down

The changed set up - nope, they are never in the way

Well I guess it is about a 5 minute job, I will give it a shot.

Seems like a good idea.

Its worth noting that on the 2010 SEUC there is a "front" and a "back" to the passenger floorboard that matches the front and back of the rider floorboards on that respective side. The Passenger floorboards didn't look right to me when flipped from right side to left side. Did you try adjusting the passenger floorboards up and back? That approach should also provide shorter riders with more leg room for maneuver when off-power.

I elected to keep the passenger boards on their original sides but then again I'm a taller rider and the pass floorboards may not be effecting me as much.

Did mine this morning, pretty good move for me. Still not sure if the wife is good with it.

Not sure if this helps anyone.......
The passenger floorboards are 3 piece
1. Floor board
2. Bracket for the  floorboard.
3. Bracket for the frame.

Move #2 to opposite side of bike, everything else stays on original side.

Would you mind taking a picture of the floorboard now that you switched sides on the floorboard bracket? It might be helpful to visualize how this will look before swapping the brackets.  Thx.

Also, is it the same size allen wrench for all 3 bolts? It seems like the two that are side by side right under the footboard are slightly smaller than the one that bolts the whole assembly to the frame.

Thanks in advance

You don't need to move that.....

DICKW - I realize I don't need to move the bracket that bolts to the frame. The allen wrench that fits that particular bolt doesn't seem to fit the two side by side bolts and thats why I was wondering if they are a slightly different size.

I am not sure if that is a different size, but all the ones that need to be removed are the same size.

If I was a gambling man I would say it's one size smaller.

I'm probably being very stupid, but I'm lost with what has to be moved and what doesn't!  Can anybody explain in simple terms, with pictures if possible??   :nixweiss:

I have been fighting this issue all summer.  I switched them tonight and wow what a difference.  How can something so simple take a thread like this to make us think.  Thanks for the info....
