   I am a disabled veteran that has had 9 different knee surgeries ( 5 right, 4 left ). I had a replacement done May 22, 2007, that failed by July 1, 2007. At which time the doc did another one on me December 1, 2008 my choice on the time. Listen, do what you are told to do, and take it easy. Because you are having both done at the same time, recovery will be fast and generally the out come is good. Listen to your body when you get to the point were you can ride. Your body will tell you what you need to change on the bike to make it work for you! Just so you know, I am (was) a registered nurse. I had to change careers because of the surgeries, have always been different just my luck my body has been rode hard and put away wet for a long time. God Bless and Good luck!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the delayed response - I don't know how I missed this post - thank you so much for your words of encouragement.

I'm 4-weeks (today) out of surgery and although I am able to walk without assistance, my doctor has made it clear I need at least 2-more weeks of crutches and another 3-4 weeks with a cane. Physical therapy is a 'female-dog' but from what I hear from those who've gone through this, essential in making a full recovery.

I'll PM you so we can discuss the details of your knee surgeries (as I do not want to hijack nor bog down this thread).

Saw a leftover brand new 08 Screamin' Eagle Ultra at Buffalo HD today. Crimson/silver  They have it tagged for $29,999.  I was kind of surprised to see that

East Coast Harley Davidson, Dumfries, VA, has a new '09 CVO Fat Bob (Yellow) sitting on the floor and being offered at $4000 under MSRP.  The also have an Orange Convertable there at MSRP.  They sold all of their Buell 1125R's as soon as they advertised them at $4995.  I went there yesterday on a whim to see if they had any left and they were gone.
