Hi all, I've been lurking here a while.
Recently purchased a 03 SERK.
Lurking here convinced me to get a set of Rinehart True Duals for it, but haven't put them on yet.

Denim,
Welcome to the site. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] I think you'll be happy with the Rineharts (first pair I heard were on a friends '03 SERK), I have been very happy with mines.

I would say you have fell into the groove well: "Lurking here convinced me to get a set of Rinehart True Duals for it...", so I guess I don't have to warn you about keeping a tight hold on your wallet. ;D Not to worry though we've all found stuff from this site we have had to have. :o

Now for your official welcome.....
[smiley=worthless.gif] [smiley=worthless.gif]

We want to see some pictures of that SERK. :D

I'm going to need more acc's????
I convinced the wife that these CVO bikes come loaded, "will not need to spend another dime."
Finally got her to understand that loaded doesn't include pipes and air cleaner.

Welcome to the site, Its funny I used the same line. First it was the pipes that I had to get and now 2 years and about 8k later thanks in many ways to this site) I'm still finding more things to do to the bike. ;D

Heyyyyyyyy... what's going on here?  [smiley=nixweiss.gif] Is this what we all tell the spousal units when we buy the new bikes? I've found this is a hard statement to back away from and momma brings it up everytime I wander towards the P&A dept online or at the stealer.  ;D [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] :o

Lately ....... I've been playing the lottery, ... ya know ... for more bling???  ::)

Word to the wise.

Never, never say that the bike you are getting has everything. Best thing to do is show them the bike, then the H-D P/A catalog and say "I don't think I'll need everything in here as the bike comes with a lot of it". [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

This way you are covered and you can still buy some "extra's" for you bike. ;D

This is like deja vue.    Two weeks ago I sold my RK.  My wife was a little perplexed, seems I failed to tell her I had listed it for sale.  I told her I  needed an 04 or 05 SEEG.   This did not go over well.

Then comes last week when the local dealer gets an '06 Haze in and tells me that his buyer is flaking on him.  By Friday I convince my better half that the CUSE is the way to go, that by the time I found a SEEG and and personalized it I'd have the same amount of money in it...and its got everything on it and won't need anything else.   [smiley=oops.gif]  So on Friday I go in to buy and it was sold, I was disappointed but not surprised.  My salesman asks me if I'd be interested in a Crimson and Slate (my original favorite), turns out he just bought one back from a customer the day before, grand total of 499 miles and less money then the new one 8-)
Thanks to all of you I know that I've made an informed purchase.

So after 238 days of lurking I'm now ready to join in and ask a bunch of stupid questions and add my dry sense of humor to the site. [smiley=drink.gif]

TexTaz ... Welcome!!
You're gonna like it here. Real good info, humor and OCD. BTW, I'm just a bit partial to the Crimson & Slate myself ... had mine since October.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Thanks Guys

I don't feel near as bad for my severe case of OCD.  I feel not near as bad for telling my beloved that I would have it all just with the purchase price.  ;)

I am in full guilt recovery.

OK, I'm getting the hang of it now.
No use putting on the Rineharts without a proper A/C.
Was going to get the Big Sucker but wound up ordering the Doherty A/C and their Mystfree set up.
https://www.dohertymachine.com/index.php?osCsid=26e9ced677774738aa872a541225bdbe
Since I'm going to have the pipes and rocker boxes off I went ahead and ordered the Diamond Engineering 12 point stainless bolt kit. Didn't really think the head bolt covers matched, so picked up the Finned Head Bolt Bridge.
Realized the oil spout will be right there with the pipes off, so I picked up a chrome one, now the black oil cooler really looks out of place so got the chrome cover there also.
Started looking at the chrome starters but wife took away the plastic  :'(. Was able to squeeze out the chrome solenoid cover though.
Oh yea, almost forgot. Had to get a SERT so it can be tuned correctly and not waste any money due to poor mileage  ;D
