evidently all new frames fall under this recall.
Nicest reaction this side of the pond came from H-D Bonn's chief-tec:
"I don't read american forums. They write a lot of nonsense over there. Go and ask the people you bought your bike from."
(the bike actually was bought and importet from UK)

when I look at the pic of grinners tank there seems to be not a small chance that depending on how much fuel is in it it may spray all over the rider if the tank breaks open at this point.
I'm afraid cause of this recall was a very serious incident somewhere not very long ago as
1. this is already a NHTSA-matter before Harley even has a repair kit or a formal service-bulletin
2.frames as lately built as November 19 are metioned , so they know for certain just since a couple of weeks
3. dealers must be quite afraid of this thing if they won't let you ride away with your bike unrepaired on their own responsibility.
I believe there are some more bad news to come
