Once again.....

FLHXSE2 Delivery Update :
While working through the recovery plan on FLHXSE2, we continue to have challenges meeting our delivery requirements.  A number of December FLHXSE2 orders have been retimed to January. The retiming of December has pushed January orders into February and some February into March.

Kryptonite/Black
The paint supply issue on Kryptonite/Black is close to resolution.  In our last communication, we had expected to begin shipping in January.  Unfortunately, we will not have sufficient quantity of the Kryptonite/Black paint sets until February.

Gator, who/where told you that?  If it is true, that's great.......just find it hard to believe that the MoCo would put out a memo and then "someone" knows something else!

That's doubtful since the MOCO said "NONE" until February!

2 greene's coming to Toronto Harley in March. Both already sold.

So we all know that the paint is flaking off on the Greene's so what about the bikes that are already out there. What happens when the sun, rain and time get to them. What will the paint look like then? Just wondering. :nixweiss:

Where was that cited?  Had only read of a "paint issue."  But had seen nothing more specific than that.  From where do we "know" that the "issue" is adhesion?

As far as I know, there were never any produced outside of the 5 or so that they had for the Dealer Show, Sturgis, Promotions, Photo Shoots, etc.  (correct me if I am wrong)

I just looked back and notice i did not post what i had heard. When i went by Jacox Harley here in Toronto to look at the rotors of a 2011 CVO Ultra that was on the floor i started to talk with a sales rep about the 2011 CVO SG and he told me that the paint on the Greenie's will not stick and is flaking off. My rep. also at Toronto Harley also confirmed that there are issues with the paint. I cannot confirm this since it was just a verbal discussion but where there is smoke there is fire. :nixweiss: We also went on to talk about how valuable the greenie would be if Harley did not make anymore and how they would have to make more of the other 3 colours. So i guess time will tell.
