OK, you win.
A 2007 110 SEUC that's dependable probably is worth $182,500.00.

When you get your NEW engine back and it starts making noise be sure to put your feet and legs as far out of the way as possible and open her up until parts start flying out. Then they will give you a new one.

That was my thought's exactly. Harley is going to keep bike and do the initial 200 mile break in on the new motor. Fly Wheel is at it's max tolerance but still with-in limits so the Moco wont change the fly wheel. They only authorized rods and pistons. I guess in 6 months we will go through this all again on motor number 4.

This does not pass the sniff test.....the crank shaft is sold as an assembly and rods are not sold individually. If they are going to replace the rods (it can be done) then they will need to disassemble the crank and re-true it upon assembly.

Just noticed that also Jim.  Suppose it's just a paperwork sleight of hand?  A way to have corrected the crank without admitting the crank was what they were working on or really needed to?

Could be but I wouldn't think the dealer or the MOCO would do a crank repair. EVERY new HD crank i have purchased in the past several years has been sent straight out to be trued, welded, and balanced. The last one I just finished up was .004" out right out of the box! The machine shop that is doing them for has seen a brand new one at .008" out :o  Sad....really sad!

That's just inexcusably poor.  Would be money ahead and likely no worse for product to simply setup an eBay autosearch for used cranks.  Buy them cheap and send them out to be fixed.  Similar product on the backend and less cost up front.  Could afford to throw away the occasional piece of crap relative to the overall product cost.

Yeah, it's sad when you can actually stop and think that starting with someone else's take-offs and/or throw aways might be a better overall alternative than buying new product from Mother Harley.

A good point taken here!! The service writer and Service manager told me this info and yes I can admit I'm not a motor expert but now I will try to see what they are really up to. They get you so turned around that you forget what you brought the bike in for!!

Keep your chin up and stay on top of em. They will be less likely to pull anything if they know your watching them. This flywheel thing is just strange. You got a lot of great people on this site helping you.

Just got off the phone with my attorney AZ does have a Lemon law statue 44-1261 thru 1265 and it does have provisions for out of service for more than 30 calendar days with provisions for fault when it comes to parts failure. There is some criteria for being returned for same problem but I would look into it!
