I'm sure the AT 20's and Bitubos are fantastic, but the Ricor Intiminator's in my front end were a great improvement for $200, and I don't want to spend over $800 on shocks when I can make a great improvement for around $550. This is just me, I think I'll be happy with this combo. I also have a bagger brace on my RK and it made a big difference on the old style frame. Anybody got any comments on he PS 940's or the Suspension Technologies shocks? JW, the 13" Works will raise my bike about 1/2"? That's not bad, give me a little more lean angle!! I have a 30" inseam so don't want to go any higher than that, plus I like the lower look.

It's like anything else in the world...it's all about what you know to compare to what you have or had.
Anything is better than what comes on all HD motorcycles, so whatever you do will be an improvement over stock suspension. The difference between the AK-20
catridges and most anything else out there short of that, is they are all attempts to try and
emulate a true cartridge, and some do it better than others, but it ain't the same, and if you have no basis for comparison, you'll never know how good the suspension
can be. It's all a matter of money, just like buying a regular version of any given HD, or a CVO. They will both get you from point A to point B, but it's all about how you want to get there.
The new Progressive 940's look promising, but then they are nearly what the Bitubos cost, if I'm not mistaken, and the 970's actually list for more than the bitubos, and I can't see where they have a rebound damping adjustment. And, from what I'm reading, the 940's are really a basic shock with preload adjustment.
Whaever you do, I'm sure you'll be happy with it.
