Sure did JR.  A few weeks before the cams got here.  It never made sense to me before as the engine didn't run in a place that could take advantage it.  Any highway crusing much below 80 and you were lugging the engine (whether you realized it or not).  Seeing how much earlier the cams were going to bring the torque curve in, however, made it look like the two would be a great combination.  Turns out they do work great together.  Makes for a really sweet cruising combination.  If you're in the 70-75 range you can pass without having to make a downshift.  And if you decide to downshift and really twist it then hold on and be glad you've got a backrest  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I've got mine, Not installed yet. The bike will be getting a few upgrades in the next few weeks and I'll be doing them all at once.

Mine should be here soon.  Whoever gets one installed it would be great to get some feedback on the install.

Got the gauge in hand now.  Install sometime this weekend probably.  Won't be mounting sending unit in the MoCo recommended location though so harness routing will vary as well.  Nothing difficult though.  Be brave, rip the bike apart.

What's the mfgr information on the instrument, if any ? Maybe MOCO has changed suppliers and made the install more difficult.

The previous McEwan gauge was a simple install and he was a distributor for "Beedle" marine, automotive and industrial insturments at one time. I think he may have just added the orange/black face, and maybe the spun aluminum for the new one. Officially they're: Beede Electrical Instrument Co., Inc. 88 Village Street, P.O. Box 8910, Penacook, NH 03303-8910

Have mine ordered from M&M..  Waiting for 2Lanes write up.  I too will mount sender in oil pan reservoir.  Hope to know whether most people mount the gauge where the air temp gauge goes or move the voltmeter there and put the oil temp gauge above the oil pressure gauge.  Also does the radio have to come out?  Thanks in advance.
