Or maybe we could practice on Brian's  :2vrolijk_21:

Wouldnt that mean we would be practicing on Kathy's as Brian's is always some where getting fixed or replaced :)   I still wonder if he is out of the dog house yet for taking her bike to bikeweek without her  ::)   ::)    ::)

I was thinking maybe if we take all the parts between Bessie and Crash, that Brian may actually be able to get one running bike, it just wont be clean.

I still think Kathy's take on this subject would be INTERESTING  ::)

Has anyone had diamond cutting done on their convertible?
I'm having mine done, should be done and ready to ride in a few weeks, Just in time for Minnesota Riding.

I'll post pics after I get it done, many mods to this bike , which was classified as a custom cycle according to the Donnie Smith Custom Bike Show in MN.

I like the blue, favorite color  :P. That looks good, better than I expected from a Dremal tool...now I'm curious how much time you spent on each motor  :nixweiss:

Particular bike model won't make any great difference here.  Cylinder is a cylinder and a head is a head so far as the visual impact of what is achieved here.  Looks good on any bike.

2 hours each cylinder/head

It is just tedious.....grind...move over a little....grind....move over a little....grind...move over a little

ps..I did practice a little on a ruined set of jugs  :2vrolijk_21:

Looks good (in the pics at least).  And I don't wanna 'burn my nose'.....so, good job, Brian.  Are those motors painted in places blue & red?  :-\ Hard to tell with the flash reflection.  spyder

The blue motor was powder coated by a company in Wisconsin

The red motor was done to look like it was marbled.....silver base with a brandywine over

both motors have clear powder over the color
