ugly little noise from left side down

Last week tuesday i heard a little ugly noise from the left side down at the engine near the shifter , rode to the dealer at friday and they started with the search , now it seems to be the crankshaft bearing , damn , waiting for the parts and best weather to ride but no bike , extended warranty will cover 90% ( i hope ) , 32300 miles on the bike supertuner done by the dealer .
Want to change the cam perhaps , which one from Harley do you suggest for low rpm power ? And also will try to do the progressive monotubes while bike is sitting at the dealer .
And time goes by . .... :-X :'(

Sorry for your 'down time', highjagger.  :( What you really need is a 2nd CVO so as to have a back-up for situations such as this one.  ;) har.  spyder

definitely it is the crankshaft bearing .
 Exchange the cylinders , the crankshaft , piston and some other small parts around this , some parts are in backorder , so i have to wait till they will arrive - good weather and no bike - what a feeling  :-\

At 30k miles my wife's crank scissored and they just built her a new motor.  Just under 30k miles and my crank went.  The MoCo replaced the crank, heads,rings and lifters.  My dealer let me take the crank and have it welded and balanced and I also sprung for the temkin bearings....the two weak spots on the 110". :2vrolijk_21:  My bike is velvet smooth now and quieter than it was with 8 miles on it. :2vrolijk_21:

Parts arrived and the dealer told me that it hopefully will be ready to be picked up at friday . So i hope this will become truth .

It might be an idea to replace the drives with gears so you don't have to deal with them again down the road!

What do you mean with "drives" and "gears" , i don`t check this.

My idea was to put in the Andrews cam , but the dealer does not make the dynoruns anymore , he only does the smart setting in future time , this is the reason why i have to keep it "stock" - wish i had the choice of dealer like you have across the atlantic - damn .

The mechanic ( dealer) put it together and heard a little undefined noise , so instead of picking up my bike i have to wait again because he began the search , his guess : valves .

 :o OK Klas, what's the difference between a "little ugly noise" and a "little undefined noise"?  Other than, you still aren't enjoying the summer riding weather.  >:(
