negative, just keep your stem between the 5 and 7 o'clock position when checking tire pressure.

works for me

Wouldn't you thinhk the factory would start working on a fix, even stock fenders are high but CVO's come on.  Wonder who is running the place sure is sad.  They need to run a promation, buy a new CVO and get two spare fenders and a 10 pound bag of wheel weights.   :nixweiss:

Cars are using the adhesive whel weight now also.  Its not just HD.

Just installed Dyna Beads front & rear. Bike rides great. I'm still waiting on the new front fender. It's been 4 weeks now!

bloper123,

Yes remove your old weights. Installing the beads is kind of a pain. Just take your time. The front is easier than the rear. The rear rotor is in the way and also 2oz of beads go in the rear, where 1oz goes in the front.

I  use more than 1 oz. in my front.....depends on the size of the tire and how out of balance the wheel/tire is.....may need more than one ounce. ;)  spyder

i agree, usually 2 oz in the front and 2 1/2 to 3 oz in rear for me with great results. this is on my 09 with 130/70/18 front, 180/55/18 rear. when i change my tires i recycle them to the new ones and use a static balancer to check before putting in beads. haven't had a change that was out more than 3/4 ounce to date. takes a lil patient and practice to get them things in thru the stem. some good tips and tricks on there site. http://www.innovativebalancing.com/index.php

i'm not affiliated with them, just a long time customer. :orange:

Yes But my beads in front & rear and took the weights off, Bike is smoother at all speeds and got blue up to 95mph and it had no vibration.  I think these beads do work better than weights.  But bike on jack and turn tire up and all beads in value stem will role back in bottle when they get stuck in value cord, really ease to do.

Only if you 'believe' in them.  It's like some people said, no way did they work.  Hard to explain...almost like they're 'magic' or something.  All I know is they work for me and I'm gonna keep believing.  :xmas:  :santa3: :pleased: har.  spyder

The web site states that Dyna Beads can also work with tires that require tubes.  Is there any worry of the tude being affected over time?  Don't have tubes but I am curious.  Will Dunlop honor any tire warranty?

Also, do you guys recommend doing the extra work and remove the tire vs via the valve stem?  Sorry for all the questions.  Thanks in advance!

I see no reason that these little ceramic beads would hurt the tube.  Better chance of the chrome peeling off the inside of the rim and cutting a tube in my opinion.  Also, taking the tire off of the wheel to install the beads gives you a better chance of some getting in between the tire and wheel seal than installing thru the valve stem.  It can be done either way though.  They're very lightweight and blow everywhere if given a puff of air.  Just keep the valve stem DRY and you'll have no trouble inserting the little buggers.  ;) har.  spyder

I was lazy and had the shop install mine when they changed the tires but I brought them in with my parts.

Some are having good luck using an engraver against the valve stem to set up a vibration. Sounds like the path I'll choose.

Interesting how this has morphed from a wheel weight thread to a Dyna Bead thread. Been thinking of trying them myself. I like a clean wheel.

Glad to hear the Moco is replacing the dented fenders. You would think they would apply some engineering ergs to truly solving the problem.
