That was a great savings Ken  . Are you going to get chrome rotor's  ??

Chrome rotors don't work well unless it's stricktly a show bike.  They don't stop very well and get very, very hot, discoloring the chrome.  However, polished stainless drilled rotors work very well and can be highly polished.

Agreed... I would go with polished SS rotors if anything... that's lower on the list though... after regearing, some head work, and a little more CR bump to around 10-1. Don't really want to go above 10-1...

Here's a "quickie" with the Drago's S/C/S-4 on the bike, and the ghost pipe on the left. Sounds WICKED good! Much louder than the Fullsacs at idle... and when I rev it, it's twice as loud. Nice deep bellow, kind of like a D&D Fat Cat - but with no high-frequency ringing overtones.... Buster sings BASS now!

I spray-painted the insides of the end caps, and up into the mufflers, with hi-temp flat black engine enamel... so the left ghost pipe and the right pipe will look the same. Details!

I'm gonna take him out for a spin tomorrow. I'll take some pics by the lake... prettier background than my garage with the oil-stained floor!

Will need to retune now, of course, for the better squish with the Cometic .030" head gaskets and the 2-1 pipe. It's always something...

Hey Ken,, the new exhaust looks great.   I'm not sure I want more noise back there.  Looks awesome and a great idea painting the 2 the same.  Keep up the good work.

I agree on the paint job. I don't know if I'd have thought about it this early in the game. Probably after the working pipe aged I would have noticed the obvious.
I ordered a 2 into 1 pipe, K&N filter and Power Vision from Fuel Moto. I installed the filter and used the programmer this past weekend. The pipe is supposed to ship in early May.
I like the looks of your pipes and was unaware of that manufacturer until I read your post. Looks like they are in the big league of making horsepower!
I should have my tour pac in the middle of this month. After seeing your original post I knew I had to get the king!

Thanks, man! It's one of those "Labor of Love" kinds of things! My wife's OK with it... If I weren't doing this, I'd probably be out riding motorcycles... or some silly, dangerous thing like that!

Very well-built by Rush Performance...









And threw this chrome "Ball o' Flames" air horn from Metal Arts on, too... just for Chits and Giggles!
(Took me nearly 4 MONTHS and numerous e-mails and phone calls to get them to actually ship the durn thing... but it's nice!)
