X2...takes for f'ingever to fill the tank, and some of the pumps have a hair trigger. POS.
Hinges, yes.
Chrome Starter
Fully integrated electronics, or at least get the ones on the bike to WORK 100% of the time.
Chrome Calipers would be nice
1.25" handlebars
Better suspension front and rear
A real leather seat
Terry, Agreed on your list.
A friend of mine made a "fix" for the gas splash back, & gave me one. If you are interested, it is cheap & easy to make & it really does work.
Cut the valve stem out of an old inner tube - widen the hole JUST BIG ENOUGH for a typical gas nozzle to fit through. Or just cut a section out of an old inner tube & make a hole for a gas nozzle in the middle of it.
Then cut the inner tube in a 4-5" circle, around the center hole cut for the gas nozzle. You now have a 4-5" inner tube, cut in a circle (single thickness of tube), with a smaller hole cut in the exact middle.
Place your inner tube "gas protector" inside the fuel door of your gas tank, under the gas door lid. It may have to be scrunched up a little but it will fit. Take care never to put it under the lid latch. Do not ask why or how I know never to put the inner tube deal under the latch. $^@%!!!

When you fill up, just place the center inner tube over the gas nozzle. Place nozzle in the fill spout a couple of inches or so. Splash protector is flush with the fill spout, tight over the nozzle. Most gas splash back will go back into the gas tank or overflow & if you are careful, none will get outside or on the paint. If the splash guard is wet with gas (most times it will be on the bottom) it does not matter since there is a drain hole next to the fill spout in the housing under the gas door lid.
I hope the HD jeanieous injurneeert that designed the gas fill spout on the 6 gl tank on my Ultra gets gas on his shoes every time he fills up - at least until he re-engineers the damn thing. If theses guys actually used these things, they would not make them this way to begin with.
