I'm worried....
« on: July 02, 2006, 03:57:08 PM »

Twice in the last ten days, I've been on the CUSE and had  REAL good soaking with monsoon type weather. BUT..... my fuel gauge has not yet steamed up!!!!!!!   Do you think it's ffaulty, and I should ask the stealer to change it?  ;)

No need to ask dealer if yours is faulty now as you've probably just jinxed yourself. [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

Hey Eqcons, the reason you keep getting soaked is that your rain guage is not working.  [smiley=sunny.gif] [smiley=vrolijk_1.gif] har!  spyder [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

Weird you wrote this.  You did jinx a bike, but it wasn't your.  Washed the red bike this afternoon.  Just the garden hose type of wash.  The gauge had never steamed up before on the red bike.  Even in hour and hours of good rain.  Today it did.  It's your fault.  Thanks a lot  :(

You gave me a case of transatlantic fog (do shots fix that?).  ;D

I think you missed the humour (which wasn't sarcasm!)  ;)  There's a bit of a tradition on this site about fogged up gauges, (and every fuel gauge I've ever had has fogged up, so I was merely being a little humourous, not complaining!  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

I think yesterday's weather must have made you wear your serious hat!  [smiley=banana.gif]

Eqcons, my gas gauge does not even come close to working, but lately it has started to fog up as well.  23000 miles, no fog, now fog.  I guess it was inevitable.  But I am not complaining either.  I've learned what I can live with and what I can live without working and am a very happy CVO rider with what I have right now.

Oh, I'm sure mine will fog up eventually, just like all the others I've ever had, Mrs WeCVO!  ;)
