I dropped my bike off at the shop on July 15.  It has been ready for pick up since August 3 - and I'm not picking it up until first thing tomorrow morning.  When the temps have been in the very high 90s and low 100s - heat index in the 115s, I didn't want to risk the 50 miles home.  Now it takes some drastic temperatures to keep me from riding - so we are in drastic times.  Forecast though!!!!!!!!!!  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]A cool down coming.  Will only be in the low 90s.  haa haa haa!   ;D

The Heat just takes all of the fun out of it. I still ride to work but it S*cks sitting in the rush hour traffic. Except Mon-Wed I took the car with the AC.

I sure hope all you guys/gals in the Northern climes are enjoying all the HEAT that you were lusting after during the cold, cold winter.  I've ridden less down here in the South East this summer than in a long time, including the winter months........so, don't know if it's age, extreme heat, or fat/being out of shape, but two short kinda local trips in weeks now.  :(  arrrrrrgh!  [smiley=pirate.gif] spyder

Don't think it's global warming, but sure might be the combined hot air spewing forth lately from Gore and Hillary.....BTW...not nice to pull ol' Hub's chain while he's off racing... ;)

Hey Brian, is it hot down there in those palms?  Har!  Nawww, I didn't know ole Hub had left to go racing......when did he head out?  Hope they're racing in Canada....too hot anywhere down here.   [smiley=drink.gif] spyder
