Windshield Pouch/Bag Storage
« on: April 02, 2012, 04:41:09 PM »

I really miss not having the storage right there at easy access.  The Harley 3 pouch windshield storage wont work with the CVO dash pad, and the GPS mount.  Has anyone found an aftermarket storage alternative?

The T-Bags windshield Tri-pouch fits perfectly on my CVO Ultra. The first time its fitted its a little challenging, but after its been on awhile it'll fit like a glove and be supereasy to take on and off for cleaning the windshield. Its a simple install. Just back the front fairing windshield screws out slightly, slide the backing of the puches into the fairing, retighten the fairing screws. Couldn't be any easier or more functional upgrade. http://compare.ebay.com/like/110837069154?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar

You might want to check the fitting if you have the factory installed Zumo on the inside of the fairing instead of the handlebar.

Fox creek leathers has a single windshield bag. It works great, quality workmanship, & the price is right!

The new windshield pouched will fit and the left one unsnaps when you use your GPS. I have a 12 Screamin eagle Ultra myself--same color as yours.

Thanks JR!  Hey I'm also interested in your highway pegs -  Kuryakin Switchblades you said.  But are the mounts to get them to sweep back like that, anything special?  Does all the necessary mounts/hardware come with the pegs?  Do you know the Kuryakin part number?  Thanks!

Like how new? I bought the 3 pouch 7months ago and it won't fit with the dash pad even taking the one bag off for the GPS.

I'm not home right now but I believe I got the 4526's for average riders. I would be glad to look it up when I get home this weekend if you need. Here is a closer shot with the switchblades on the bike. Love em! :2vrolijk_21:

Thank you JR for your prayer's.  It has been 9 months and everyday is an improvement.  My new SESG that I replaced my '09 SG has sit out in the garage with 500 miles on it since August.  I pray everyday that this summer I will be healed enough to ride it, so in the meantime I read this forum and shop a little for great things to add on (it keeps me optimistic).  I hope one day we run into each other on the road so I can thank you in person for your prayers.

JR   Which Fox Creek bag did you install, the Heavy duty bag at $38 or the Windsheild bag at $55 ?   I want to make sure I order the right one....that fits.  Thanks  JimH
