This is at my sister-in-law's house in North Providence.  I think I was talking to one of my co-workers, saying something like, "neener neener neeeeeener" or "booyah"

Huge traffic jam at the Hudson River along I-84, so we went 11 miles north and crossed over the FDR Bridge.  Nice piece of history here, plus a cool bridge to boot.

The next 4 pix are taken at the Deleware Water Gap National Recreation Area.  This was worth the extra time in the saddle.

This young buck was in the road with a doe.  Had to slow down so they would get out of the way.  Luckily the speed limit was 45 throughout, because it would have been a bad thing going any faster.

If you look very hard, there are 3 very mature bucks walking in a line to left to right.

Here's one of the Delaware while it's still a relatively small river.

That's enough for tonight.  Gotta get some sleep.

Appreciate the feedback so far.  One thing I can say is no one can ever take this away from us.

Steve, excellent pictorial.  Did some long distance traveling before wife/kids/job, but hope to do some more long journeys after retirement, very soon. Absolutely loved the pic of you and your Dad sitting on the dock fishing. My eyes are tearing up as I type. My Dad passed in 98, but he loved to fish and we spent many hours fishing together in his boat and a sitting on a dock very similar to the one pictured. Oh how I wish we could spend some more time together.  Anyway, loved the thread and glad you guys made it safe and sound.

Thanks for the feedback.  The pic of my dad and I is now my screen saver at work.
This is Fat Elvis with his standby fender and 12" standard HD windshield.  Susquehanna HD deserves major thanks for getting me in and out in 1 hour and also for finding me a fender to get home on.  I'll be writing them a thankyou letter.
