i don't want to rewire it. the moco now sells a plug and play harness that allows this to happen. it was back ordered and i'm just doing preplanning for the install while i wait for it to come in, but thanks for the info

I think everything must be on backorder right now.  WTF is going on? :nixweiss:

Yes, it goes inside the fairing.

Ordered one a while back and finally got it.  I ordered another one when they called and said it was in and it is still on backorder.  Makes you wonder if they are putting them in the new CVO's?

It's not inside the fairing. It is just up and inside of the switch cover panel on the right. Just remove the screw and you can reach up in there a pull the wire bundle out far enough to plug it in. I've had it on my bike for 3 months now. My buddie has had his on back order for about 2 months.

check you local laws before install. In Va you can't have AUX lighting"fog, driving lights" on when on High beam. Won't pass our yearly inspection. or i would have it install.

HD will not do this at the factory because it's illegal in many states.  However, you can always turn the spots off to get buy inspections and perhaps sneak it by, depending on if you get a Richard Head inspector or a nice person.  In Alabama...whut inspections?

In the "old days"  ;)  we had to splice the wiring.

Ordered and it took nearly three months to arrive.  Not installed yet, but looking forward to having the three lights on when using brights.
