If anyone knows of a tuner working in a Harley shop that is worth talking to please forward to me.

He asked about having an indepth conversation with a tuner thats all. I agree that Brian is a great man to have that conversation with from personal experience. Thats all ;)

Joe, as well as us, have Ventilator filters that are almost double the thickness, manufactured by Green Filter, Broddock, PA.
The OE filter is restrictive.
Lever has one, at this point.
Scott

gotta say the filter is a great fit well design  will have my bike retune via stroker again to see the changes

Do you actually believe that the numbers on the dyno sheet from joes are anything that resemble accurate ?

Heavily modified 124"ers are fully capable of making good power and in stock trim a 124"er from s&s make aroud 125 HP and 130 torque,no idea what

type of work is done to a stage II head from hillside but you can be assured that there is no way this combination is breaking 150 horsepower or torque.

You might want to think about an independant dyno test to validate the testing done including an sae correction factor of what i am sure is a pretty

 significant amount of cash spent.

:2vrolijk_21:

I don't have my SAE dyno sheet or I would of attached that instead of the STD, but I do have one that reads "Actual Horsepower" at 147.0 and TQ = 151.7
Hey guys I've driven many 125/130 hp/tq bikes, this is not even close to my bike.  Plus my brother has a performance built chopper 117"er at 145 Tq / 142 hp @600lbs and I hang right with him from on the roll.   The bike at the very least is in the high 140's regardless of what the Dyno sheets say.  You might want to ask Scott what they do to the heads, all I know the motor is quiet as a mouse and runs like a raped ape!   Maybe a video pulling the front wheel off the ground and riding it down the street would help....

I would be skeptical of this dyno report as well. I have read a number of different dyno sheets from other 124" on other forums and most fall in line @ 140/140. There was a recent posting on another forum with a Star Racing built 124" with B2 heads, 70mm Throttle Hog TB, S&S 640 easy start cams and the top rear wheel hp was 147.

So now the harley forums are supposed to be like the state farm commercial where they cannot put anything on the internet that isnt true ?

Like it or not the numbers are high, how high ? not sure but Joes has a long track record of happy dyno runs that seem to vary from a little to a ton.

Maybe the concerns you've noted would be more appropriately addressed by Joe's Cycle.  :nixweiss:

Challenging Scott on the data that he didn't create will never resolve the matter IMHO.

Have you ever called Joe to ask him what's up? I'd think we owe him that consideration if it hasn't been done already.
