Now that the 2012 CVO production line is "down" and the 2013's are out I'd like to know how many of my particular bike ( Black/Slate 2012 FLHXSE3...) were built/distributed/sold--does anyone know where I can find this info?  Inquiring minds want to know...Cheers, Moose

You have to write a letter to the MoCo.

JCZ is correct.  While the HD website shows the total CVO output for the model of each year, it doesn't show color run.  I have a letter into them requesting color run numbers, specifically for the Skunk SERG and the Ruby SESG.  Here's the link to the total number page:

If you are wondering why JCZ didn't mention sending an email, the MoCo doesn't accept email communications at this time and only lists their mailing address.  I'm sure you may be able to request this through your dealer but (and why I send a letter), it would be cool to have communcations from the company with HD letterhead stating the numbers of your specific bike.  I know that's sorta nerdy but I have never been mistaken for being cool.

Looks like there were more 2011  (3,500) street glides built than the 2012s (2,700) and that makes the 12s worth more.LOL

As a follow-up.  In addition to the letter I have in the USPS to HD, I decided to give them a call, too.  Just got off the phone with a very nice customer service employee.  She stated that while the total number of 2012 CVO models made were available, the actual paint production numbers for the 2012 CVO's have yet to be posted.  She informed me that information should be available at the first of the year and for me to call back at that time.  I believe I remember a post similar to this discussion that the first of the year was a good timeframe to check on paint numbers.

So, we have to wait...

Not to shoot anyones opinions, but I think the color combo's left something to be desired. There are still
quite a few on Chopperexchange.com with zero miles. I for one wanted a new one, but none of the colors
really got me to spend my money!!! Now the 2013 colors are much better!! Maybe the sales will go up?
