Quite the contrast from Captain Kirk’s chair I saw in Seattle last year.

The internet and other forms of communication/information where not quite the same back in the day.  Thank GOD our ladies and men have received vast advancement in this area.

Now if we take the escalator down we will find the ladies lingerie department…I am thinking it may not quite be like today’s Victoria Secret!

Something tells me that the ole Burger King song, “Have It Your Way” did not apply here…

The Chapel was right next to the Torpedo Workshop.

Now being on a ship for months at a time could be difficult.  Our men needed entertainment too and Disneyland was not available given the circumstances.  So what to do?  Well bring it to them.  Ladies and Gentlemen I present to you the USS Yorktown Monorail!

So you say you are sick and tired of this boat?  Try the USS Clamagore (SS-343) diesel-powered submarine on for size.
