Don,
That's what I was thinking. Something similar to what Grover had (if I remember correctly he had the open filter with just the chrome cover on it) would really show off the diamond cut & powder coat. But I didn't want to say anything, because as it is now it's tempting me too much. [smiley=nervous.gif]

Oh, thanks A LOT

This idea really had just never popped in to my head. Am suffering a "brand new thought." Without actually seeing any parts up against the bike my first thoughts are that I think I'd like the flamed cover currently there more than chrome cover the same size. I think they'd be more complementary to each other and that the large chrome cover would be different without actually making a positive contrast. Not sure. But it'll be easy enough to see and find out for sure.
The thought of a the little cover, however, I do find a lot more intriguing. I don't remember what was on Mark's bike for an air cleaner cover so will have to go find a photo someplace. My only initial concern/consideration going this way, however, is that all the mechanicals behind are much more exposed. The Zippers intake mates to the Zippers air cleaner housing. While I did not compare side by side they said the units were wholly different. So something like that chrome cover Harley recently released to hide what's behind the air filter likely would not work. Losing the football might make a lot of stuff that isn't as attractive much more exposed than I'd wish it to be.
Damn, decisions decisions.... The fun never stops. [smiley=drink.gif]
