It's so hot here Ken I can't remember when we had a hot one like this.
I road yesterday and when I stopped at lights or slow moving I had to pull over to wipe the sweat from my eyes.
My shirt under my leathers was soaked. I'll tell ya it's way nuts. Not that I'm complaining, I can't see this lasting for too much longer Unless this year is going to be an exception
Pete - I was in England in the summer of '93, or maybe '94. I remember that it was
scorching hot, and of course our rental car did not have A/C. We went out to see Stonehenge and the stone circle at Avebury over one weekend, and sweated our butts off! We stopped and cooled our heels at a couple of Wiltshire pubs on the way back to Winchester, and thoroughly enjoyed some fine English Bitter!

Funny little story: The owner of one of the pubs looked at us as we walked in and said "
Must be our week for Americans!" before we had uttered a word... he just knew. I asked him how he had pegged us as Americans, and he replied very matter-of-factly, "
Well, your facial structure is different, higher cheekbones, and your complexion is different... But MOSTLY it's because you DON'T have that hopeless, downtrodden look about you!" I swear that's an exact quote! Good Times!
Hope it cools off for you soon, Pete!
Ken
