Nikasil is a proven technology to last over 30,000 hours in industrial motors as well as japanese 4 cylinders in cars and bikes and 2 strokes as well. Why not in a Harley?

It does work in the Harley but a big debacle early in the products life caused a tarnished reputation that is hard to get past for many that spent hard earned cash and lost it.
Tman used those cylinders on his 98" Bonneville motorcycle. He could choose any product and this was what he chose, used successfully, and still sells and supports the product.
TR is truly an innovator and professional.

It just dawned on me you tried the VH header and it didn't get you where you wanted to be.  So I apologize for misquoting the numbers I should have gone and looked vs. trusting my memory.       Unfortunately the numbers were even lower than you or I posted 117/118 as seen by your dynosheet.   I think you mentioned in one of your posts trying a bigger build, but Before you bail on a bigger build you know Fuel Moto was having a lot of success with the mid to high 120's with their 107 build at a reasonable compression.

That 408 will work well Tim. :2vrolijk_21:
Built a 124/408 combination for a client in Minn. a few years back.

Nikasil applied correctly is a proven technology to last over 30,000 hours in industrial motors as well as japanese 4 cylinders in cars and bikes and 2 strokes as well. Why not in a Harley?

Add a small yet important correction. I agree it works just fine and in a racing application has proven itself to be a small gain too.
