The Hotel Del Coronado on new year's eve....

Had new year's eve dinner at The Boathouse 1887....

Yesterday just cruised around the island on my bicycle...

Ice skating on the beach in the 70's and 80's....

And I went for a quick bike ride last night.....snapped these pics of downtown San Diego.  You'll have to excuse the blur as I was riding with one hand while shooting.

San Diego has an incredably beautiful skyline.  But it just wouldn't be possible without Coronado!    8)

I'm so jealous!  Absolutely beautiful JC.  :2vrolijk_21:  We have 10" of snow here and you're running around in shorts.  You are looking great (a little skinny) lol.  How's your new job going?

JC,
Congrats on the move, been watching this thread with Envy!  Anne's Godmother lives on Glorietta right across from the Golf Course (has for years).  We love to visit since the weather is always so good there.  Although it is odd to see people in Sweaters at 69º and Parka's when it hits 60º!

I know exactly where you're talking about Bill.  Some very nice homes with incredable views there on Glorietta Dr.  If you guys get down this way, give me a heads up.

That applies to the rest of you that are wanting to escape the white stuff of winter.....Coronado has the best year around weather in the nation.   :2vrolijk_21:

Judy, at 63 I'm on the down hill slide.  I established a new primary care doc here on the island.  I was informed that I'm down to 210 lbs. and lost an inch of height from 6'4 down to 6'3".  :nervous:  The back is the only issue of concern.....if it'll hold out I've got many good years left. :2vrolijk_21:
