One final "report" on the seat...After over 1800 miles this past Holiday, and one day of 13 hours in the saddle (other than gas stops), I can honestly say that I could not have done the trip in comfort if not for the Corbin.  For me, it has made the 200 plus mile days something to be totally enjoyed, without squirming from cheek to cheek by the end of the day.  It may not be for everyone, but it definitely works for me.  Diva is totally comfortable with her end of the seat as well.  The heat is great on high or low...just cannot find any fault with the seat. Well, bud...I can't help you out on that one, unless you're going to be in Alabama sometime soon.  How far are you from Spiderman?  Or the Cobin factory...they have one on an 07 CVO Ultra on the website...maybe it's their "display"?  Big Al is out that way too, but I havn't seen him post in a while...

Just wanted to let everybody know that I was able to sell my stock seat on ebay and recoup about half the cost of the Corbin...now is the time to sell a heated seat, apparently, as I had several people interested in it.  Better than the thing taking up space in the basement, and my butt won't every be on anything but a Corbin from now on!

Just got my Heated Corbin yesterday. At first, I wasn't too crazy about the tuck and roll design of the surface stitching, needed for the heated variety, but when I slipped it on the bike, the lines on the tank match up almost perfectly with the lines on the seat.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the look.

Now to sell the stock seat.

Cheers,

Chief

Hey Chuck,
if it were me I would keep the stock seat and store it in the box the Corbin came in.  That's what I have done on several bikes because I think it helps sell your bike when that time comes.
And I know you don't need the money!  You must be loaded given all you are doing to that new jester.  If you change your mind about tomorrow's ride let me know.  We have 6 going and you won't slow us down !

Hey d00d, I'll get to it, but at least let me get it out of the box first. Just kidding.

I'll post some pics real soon.

Yep, leaving from Starbucks at hwy 9 and Mansell Rd at 9:30. Taking back roads to Madison so won't get up to real high speeds.  Besides the temps tomorrow are cool so you should be ok
getting the rpm's up a little. After all that is why you bought the SE in the first place.
Call or pm me if you change your mind about tomorrow.  TBone is going too.

Chief...I was the same way about the tuck and roll thing...didn't think I would care for it, but little choice.  When the seat got put on the bike though, I found I liked it, and do more every time I look at it...the stock seat looks odd to me now.  Since I'm keeping this bike for a good long while...got too much invested in getting it to fit me now...and I've got too many take-off parts laying around in boxes now. By the time I sell this one, the seat will be worn out anyway  ;)

Here is the first shot of the new heated Corbin on the new Jester.

It took a bit of work moving some of the wires around, especially the harness that runs on the right side of the battery because the Corbin rests on 10 separate rubber buttons, and around the battery, four of the buttons ride on top of the frame tubes. The right side harness also runs on top of the tube, and I don't want the seat sitting on top of the harness.

Shot #2

This is when I noticed how nicely the Ostrich insert matches up with the tank graphic amost perfectly, and the first stitch line continues the line of the tank.

They did a real nice job.

Man is this seat heavy too.
