I'm in the bay area right now......Hayward.  Jim at Metal Dragon is going to change my pushrods in the morning.

The next time you're in the Tucson area let me know....I'm about 15 miles south.

I rarely get that far from home anymore, we still have long time friends near Sierra Vista, and a gal on the east side of Tucson. Mostly keep in touch with texts.
I spend most of my travels from north of LA to Oregon and Washington. Guess I’m getting old and all my buddies are too old for 2 wheels! LOL

I’m only 66 so I’ll try and catch up with y’all down the road somewhere. I did make four 600+ days in a ten day period recently.  :drink:

Can you tell us more about the ETMS? Why exactly is it better with it off?
It does more than shut down the rear cylinder when it's hot?

It comes on when ambient temp is hot and bike is hot.  Feels weird at a stop light and sounds like crap.  Feels wonkey taking off.  I don't ride in Parades so traffic.

I lead a my club ride up the Cherohala Skyway to spread Susie Q's ashes at her overlook.  Nice 13 degree temperature drop going up, felt much better than the 92 in Tellico.

A very nice 261 mile ride on the 23.5 CVO RG.  95 degree day but felt cooler on the shady mountain back roads.

Yesterday was a very nice day, mid 80's instead of 94 and high humidity.  Road over to Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson to have the 10K service done.  The Skyline OS update was just documentation, no software changes.  Not sure what the BCM update changed.  Ride home was really nice to.

That looks very good.  How tall are you?  Do you look over it?

The Harley 12" is about an inch to tall for me, the Harley 10" works good for me until above 60 mph.

I had a new set of tires put in the 2004 Huckleberry. Last set was put on around 12 years ago, before I got Orange Crush and I was kinda scared to ride Betsy. Took her out for a short ride this morning to try the tires out and the old girl likes her new shoes.

Out riding around long lake for a test on the Mueller Hydo clutch slave cylinder.
So far it's a great reduction in pull resistance,  feels must better on the thumb tendon.
I used a luggage scale to test pull resistance with OE slave was a bit over 18 lbs, it's around 12 lbs of pull resistance.

Rode up last Sunday to Dublin OH for the annual Motor Maids convention.  Learned that No Cages Harley would not put a new rear tire on my bike for over a week even though I am traveling.  Also learned that Farrow East and Farrow North would not put a new rear tire on until the following week.  What happened to Harley dealers making travelers number 1 priority?  3 times I have been fixed the day I had an issue in the past while traveling.  I have  had a regulator installed, a water pump instilled and a rear tire replaced.

That said found an independent that did install a new rear tire.  Was surprised, Ohio has some really good rides.  Triple nickle is awesome and Hocking Hills area is really nice. 1679 miles in 6 days

I’ve noticed the same thing in the last few years from dealers around here, mostly in the cities.
Most of these dealers are owned by large corporations and are following car dealers operating programs. You are just a number and a credit card.
I’ve blocked the phone number from our local dealer because I’m not happy hearing from the sales team about a new widget that will fit my bike, or that they want my user bike for customers who want it! Yeah, right.
Look for that independent, mostly good bikers, not a  car salesman .

Ohio is a very underrated state to cruise in. The "Windy 9" roads that branch off the Athens area are great!
