Heard it was coming but not until first quarter of 2014....guess they are ready to go now... :)
500 to 600cc to compete in the world market for bikes/scooters in countries where there is a restriction and/or tax issues (mostly on motors above 600cc)

I can't get excited about this.  A baby Sportster...maybe made in India (with chrome from China).

They need a bike to replace those Buell Blast.
After so many years of Riders Edge they are about toast.

I agree, the Sporty is getting a little pricey for the beginner. When they were $6k that was somewhat high,
but now starting out at $10k, starters may have to look elsewhere!

I think it will fill a need in the market.  It will be interesting to see which direction they will go.
There needs to be a small cc option for some of the markets they are targeting as well as here in the states.

Dealers need this bike bad for Riders Edge classes.  Plus it will give them a new product at a price point way below the Sportster.  I like it from standpoint of gives a lot more folks a chance to own a Harley.
