You need to do what I did... send each dealer a list of what you want (bike + part list), what you want for your bike, and ask them what is the best out the door deal they will give you...
Send this to Space Coast HD, Orlando HD, and the other dealer of your preference (some dealers have bought each other so we now have a few less as I found out when I was buying mine)...
Tell them you are sending the same list to the different dealers, let them know they are competing for your business... You can do all this via the phone and email... no need to waste time at the dealer.
Long story but the short version is,
Local dealer couldn't get what I wanted in 2011 so shopped around and found 5 bikes in all colors and 2 others on the water heading towards Australia. 7 in total.
Locked in a deal on the 2011 Inferno SG at another dealer that bent over backwards to help me out.
Bike turned up but was not what I ordered, wrong color.
Ended up with a better bike 2012 SG from the same dealer at a better price than the 2011.
Turn up at Local dealer with bike to order some parts and bang.
Fiscally got pushed out of the shop, kept my cool and just rode off in discuss and disappointment. Haven't been in the shop since.
To this day I still can't understand why the big fuss

How professional is that!
