SEULTRA,
thanks for you input.  Re the WH's they are 50 gal. each and the install had to be done according to new codes, etc requiring alot more plumbing work that normal....plus a pressure release tank.  Funny comment about them being CVO's  ;D

Now the OVAL one (I hope) [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

Well the winged ones tuck up a little bit under your plate, so I actually think I like the oval one better.

I feel for you on loosing two water heaters ---- and on the same day, WTH?

We have one of two heat pumps making a squeeling sound and we are ignoring it right now.  The last two times we had someone come to service them, he told us we really need to replace them.  This will mean also replacing our entire heating/cooling system in the house because codes have changed.  The suggested replacement cost was something like $6600.  Not CVO either.   [smiley=nervous.gif]

The winged version has to go high enough to cover the indention left after I removed the subtotbf.  I, like MrsWe, like the oval better I think but it is thicker and so far I can not get it to bend to fit the curve of the fender  [smiley=nixweiss.gif].
I also put the winge emblem on the back of the saddlebag and it looked pretty good!   [smiley=cherry.gif]

... Isn't the winged and Scot's the same thing?

I guess I did not pay attention enough, but Scott's is gold and Winged is Chrome.  Maybe we need better picture.......... we can wait till you get your new water heaters.   ;)

I have my new water heaters.....this morning I took a very expensive shower !! >:( >:( >:(
I will take pics tomorrow in daylight conditions so hopefully the emblems will show more like chrome which they are.  Do you want to see pics of what $2350 worth of WH's look like? >:(

Who came up with the weird name for these things.???  I see the poll has a whopping 4 votes.  Would that mean there isn't much interest??

Cheers, Moe

Don't have this issue north of the border (but south of Roger) with the larger plates.  However this does mean that we have one less chromy bit that fits our bikes.

I finally got around to taking a pic of the winged HD emblem I put on the rear fender.  Also a pic of the tour pak with the SE emblem on it.
