I had the original set of heated grips (5 sets ago) installed at initial service along with the Wild1 507 handlebars.

My grips work good but they shock me every time I reach for the clutch or brake lever. I take the fuse out in the summer. It is not a very hard shock but is noticeable. They do it on or off. only way to stop it is to remove the fuse.

Mine were doing that also, it really didn't bother me unless I had a cut on my hand in that area.....that is until I got caught in a heavy rain one day, gloves got soaked.....then try grabbing that clutch/brake lever......14V directly.......that'll certainly wake ya up...  had my changed right after that.....

Check em with a voltmeter between the grips and levers, you'll find you have battery voltage on there.  Dealer should change em out.

I'm waiting on replacements now for mine. The power is getting to the left grip, but no heat. Just dead..
