Well looks like another trip to the shop..."We strongly urge you to take your motorcycle to your dealer to have the appropriate service performed as possible"

Got mine done already. Literally took 15 mns. Two guys lifted the tank, checked it out, put it back on.
Can definitely be done while you wait.

2014 Touring models with ABS, brake lines under the fuel tank may be mispositioned or not secured causing them to rub and possibly be damaged.  The recall involves removing the fuel tank, inspecting the lines, replacing any that are damaged, and securing the lines with zip ties.

First dealer I called said they are waiting on "kits" from the MoCo so they can't do anything till those kits come in.. Second dealer said sure bring it by first chance I get. So what the hell is up with those kits, does just a select few dealers order them, or was that a load of bs?

The first part of the recall is an inspection. They lift the tank and check the lines. If nothing is rubbing, they just cable tie the lines. Only if there is something wrong do you need parts. In my case the repair needed two cable ties. Job done.

Maybe not a complete load of BS, but also not the correct response from a dealer to a safety recall.  The proper approach would be to get your bike in ASAP and perform the inspection.  If everything is OK, they don't need any "kit" of replacement lines.

In a perfect world Harley dealerships wouldn't be populated with know nothing jerks and azzholes.  Unfortunately this is far from a perfect world.
