Was the whole bike repainted for the Tour Pak or another reason?

Hoist, only the Tour Pak and fenders were painted. Our paint guy did an outstanding job matching the paint color and design.

I had our paint guy look at my bike (Black Ice) and he said it would be very tough to match with the hidden "root beer" color showing through in the right places. The B/B and Red/Black do not have "color shifting" properties as the Black Ice does.
BUT, that being said. We may do something cool with my bike. Stay tuned!!

Thanks Brad, I will. The SERK's are gonna be real tough to match in any color with all that ghost stuff going on in their paint scheme. I'd love to see matching hard bags. I much prefer them over the leather.

Ya, we noticed the speakers too. They might get swapped but the CVO ones match the seat so nicely.

Brad
Brad,
Nice job on the B/B. Did you use the tour pak back rest off of the leather SE tour pak? Did it fit up properly? I'm involved in a similar project right now and curious about fitment of the back rest and pods on a king tour pak.

The tour pak back rest is new, Comfort Stitch I believe.
The speaker pods are the CVO ones but stock pods would fit better.
We are doing a red/black one soon. I could get some "in progress" pictures if they would help.

Hey Brad, Happy New Year! Have you had any ideas for the hard bags for your Black Ice yet? I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I'd like to do the hard bags too.

Also, congrats. No more newbie!

As it should have been done from the factory!  That is one fine looking SEUC. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  I'd like to see that done to the red SEUC.

That tour pack looks great!
That's the way it should be done.

Not much of a fan of the wide whitewalls on a dresser though.
