 :P  Brad,

Nice job and all of the talk about what I  like and what I dislike about the bike is what makes owning a HD is all about. Anybody can make any bike look the way they like. Self expression is the name of the game here.  Keep up the good work, and personalize the he!! out of them. OCD is alive and well!!  LOL I too would have liked a larger tour pack; however, you can spot a SEEG a mile away with the leather pack and I now love it.

The leather tour pak is wearing on me. In 06 I thought it was the worst thing Harley came out with in years but now I like just as much or better than the painted pak. Gives you that custom look. Puts the C back into CVO. Just going to make pak detachable.

Sky,
I agree.  When I first saw the leather tour pak on the 06, I thought "that thing is about butt-ugly".  And when I heard that the leather tour-pak was coming back on the 07, I wasn't going to get a CVO because of it...but I got to thinking, that's a dumb reason for not getting the bike I really want and I can always change out the tour pak.  Well, now that I have it, I like it.  I like the fact it's got the CVO medallion on it, it looks great on the B&O and definitely makes the SEUC a custom motorycle.  I have no intentions of swapping it out.  I think the ones that have swapped them out, the painted tour paks look great, but now their bike looks like every other Ultra on the road.  The leather tour pak separates the CVO's from the rest.  JMHO and not meant to flame any of you that have swapped out your tour paks.

Just so you don't begin feeling to safe in a leather tour pak silo, Polaris Victory also has a very similar tour pak on their touring bike. Saw one last weekend at the airport. Leather tour pak no longer equates to "custom motorcycle". Sure hope we aren't getting mistaken for Victory riders. Oh well, they probably all use the same Chinese supplier.

You SEUC guys may be safe for mistaken identities.  Its general shape and a quick glance at the saddlebags sure could make someone think Road King Classic though.

Thanks TL. Your quick retrieval of the picture solidifies the point. "Custom" doesn't have anything to do with what the factory sells you. "Custom" is the look and degree of individualism you choose to inject into your chosen ride. Making it YOU is what I think custom means. CVO to me means a chance to form camaraderie's with quality folks like the owners on this site who share a common bond. JMHO!

Coblatman,
The Red CUSE should be out of the shop this week. If the owner allows, I will post some pictures.
The Tourpak turned out spectacular and has a very slick custom touch to it.

As for my bike, just the Reinhart True Duals and a hi flow air cleaner set up with a SERT.
I am still choosing a cam to work with the SE 10.5:1 pistons and 50mm intake......

Wow ! That bike has some serious add-ons. I think the paint looks like it came from the factory. I am also one that likes the leather look but to each his own.

Brad,
What's the latest ?  This post was nearly two weeks ago. Is the bike finished ? Did the owner say yeah or nay to pics ?   Inquiring minds need to know.

We had one Red Ultra we did a custom painted King Tour Pak leave the shop last week. I have a few pictures I will post tomorrow night

Today we finished up the other Red one with a ton of add ons... including a customized, painted King Tour Pak.
It was raining when the owner came so there is not many finished pictures but I will have them in a new post tomorrow night.

This makes 3 '07 CVO Ultras we have put the King Tour Paks on. There is a Black/Orange one that the owner has dropped a few hints about adding a detachable King Tour Pak to.

If this keeps up, I may have the only Leather Tour Pak equipped bike out here.... I love the leather one!! Yes it is much smaller but you get used to packing as much as you can carry.....

:worthless:  YA, I KNOW!!!!!! Tomorrow I promise.

Absolutely, I've got a whole different perspective on the SEUC's without the Ninja Turtle hump on the back. Gorgeous Bikes ! Can't wait to see more.
