I do not have an '07 CVO dresser, but I do have an '07 CVO Softail. My rear brake lever is also a thicker billet item that is a non-standard item and a work of art. There is no way I'd be swapping it out for a Kuryakyn metal stamped product in order to fit an aftermarket header pipe. Not that Kuryakyn is a bad product, but the CVO bikes to me are limited editions that should be left as visually original as possible. I know this is not a universal opinion, so please no bashing, this is just my opinion. The idea that the company would recommend that someone heat up the pipe and pound it in with a screw driver is hard to fathom! The pipes would go straight back to the factory for a full refund, as they do not fit as advertised. Can you imagine how much flack HD would get if they had a fitment issue like this? Indeed they did with the '07 Fatboys that had interference with the front fender and the upper fork shroud. The bikes were recalled and refitted at the MoCo's expense.
