Does the bike vibrate when not moving and revving the motor to 3k?

By the way the bike is new with no mods less than 200 miles on it.

Check the plugs.  Some have had fouled plugs when brand new, causing a miss that could create a vibration.

Thanks for the replies,
Latest update, after I got pissy with the dealer yesterday they agreed to have a look at the bike and check a few things like flywheel run out, the exhaust and the motor mounts. It's a start. I hope they find something because I really like the bike other than that.
A lot less head buffeting than my 2014 ultra Limited.
If anyone else has experienced vibration problems I'm all ears the more info the better.
One question was does it do it sitting in neutral revving it up. Yes you can feel it but not as bad as when driving it. It progressively gets worse as rpm increases. You can feel it at 2200 but gets the worst at 3000 but never goes away right up to 4500 and beyond.

Do they have another 110 on the premises you (and they) can ride for comparison?  Half your battle will be getting them to admit something is abnormal - the other half of the problem will be their ability to fix the problem...   :nixweiss:

The motor should shake at idle and smooth out as you increase the revs. If you will look at the motor with it running in neutral it should shake slowly.  As you increase the revs it should smooth out by1500-2000 rpm. If it "the motor" is shaking more at 2000rpm I would have the crank runout measured.  I had a friends bike that the shaking got worse and worse over time,  and it was the crank.

Above 1800 RPM, I can't even tell my 2013 RK 110" is on other than the sound of the exhaust. Sounds a little concerning.

Just my .02 worth, but after you get the problem solved, I'd go back to that store manager or better yet, write the owner and tell him everyone on the forums on line is aware of how they treat a new customer who just spent $40K on a bike from him.  Be specific about the advice and level of service you got when you write him.  Let him know you've written the Moco about them as well, then let him know that he's lost your business for ever.  He's not likely to care, but at the very least, it'll make you feel better!
Dealer's like that need to eat a little humble pie every now and then.  It's good for 'em.
There's absolutely no reason for treatment like that after just buying a brand new bike from them...especially a CVO.

My 15 rgu also had a vibration at the same rpm in sixth gear only. Every gear Except sixth no matter the rpm was Smooth. Had two different dealers look at it and was told both times it was normal. Was told by a good friend it would smooth out after a good tune. He was right. Tuned the bike and now it's good.

Sure it's motor and not tires?

Easy way to tell, ride the bike at the speed the problem seems worst, then disengage the clutch and chop the throttle.  If it's wheels and tires, the vibration will remain the same.  From his description, though, it sounds more like powertrain than wheels and tires.

Having had a 103 and a 110, there was no noticable difference in vibration.  I did break a motor mount on the 103 and that caused the bike to vibrate differently.  Hope you get a resolution soon.

Go back to your dealer and test ride another one...if it doesn't have the same problem then I'd say yours has a problem.

This thread came to mind yesterday when I was out for a spin on our 15 CVO RGU. This bike has ZERO, ZIP, NADA perceptible engine vibrations at 3000 rpm on the highway.

Update.
Had the bike at the dealer this week. Harley told them to check the exhaust, motor mounts and for debris on the crank sensor.
Got the bike back and no change! same vibration! How in the hell could they actual let a 45000 dollar motorcycle leave the dealer like that. 20 minutes driving on the express way at 70 mph my fingers and feet were needles and pins and I had a head ache from the vibration.

I'd be in the managers office demanding they take the bike back until the issues are resolved.   They should provide you a loaner until then.   Is there another dealership near you that has a 110.   If so, drive that bike to them and have them compare the two.
