Update.
Had the bike at the dealer this week. Harley told them to check the exhaust, motor mounts and for debris on the crank sensor.
Got the bike back and no change! same vibration! How in the hell could they actual let a 45000 dollar motorcycle leave the dealer like that. 20 minutes driving on the express way at 70 mph my fingers and feet were needles and pins and I had a head ache from the vibration.

I hope you turned around and went back to the dealership and asked them to contact the MotherShip for further advice as to how to proceed with the repair of your bike, as their first guesses did not solve the problem...   :2vrolijk_21:

Someone above suggested you tell them "people on forum" etc etc. If you do this expect a sigh and roll of eyes as they internally laugh at you.
Brother-in-law has a GM dealer, they get this everyday and totally ignore everything that is said. I know the three local HD dealers do the same.
It just makes you look silly to spout opinions of people who have never seen your bike let-alone tried to repair it. Let the problem explain itself, have them test ride, contact service rep if they can't find problem or just go to another dealer, but IMHO do not use the internet as a crutch.

Went to my local dealership today and explained your situation to them.   They gave me a couple recommendations.  They said if the O2 sensor was connected backwards you would get this issue (meaning front wiring was connected to back sensor and vice versa).  Another thing to check would be the fuel injectors being wired backwards.   I also asked what you could do with the dealer continuing to blow you off and they said to contact Harley corporate and explain the situation to them and what the dealership isn't doing for you.  They also told me there are Harley inspectors that look at bikes that the dealerships can't determine what the issues are.  Not sure how to get them to look at the bike though. The GM wasn't in today, but I intend on talking to him on Tue to see what if anything else you can do.

Just a quick reply to CVODON.
The intent of my post was to put the problem out there to see if anyone had a similar problem and if they found a solution.
I live an hour from the dealer so every time I have to take my bike in it's 2 hours there and back. My wife has to follow me and pick me up then drive back again to pick it up. After spending 4 hours driving back and forth with absolutely no resolution one tends to get a little miffed. So if someone here had a similar problem that they have had resolved, there knowledge could save me hours of driving back and forth not to mention a lot of aggravation. By the way do you work at a Harley Dealer?

Looks like your from ON. Which dealer do you go to? Maybe someone could suggest another one that would be more helpful.

But it sound like maybe your from up North or East and maybe don't have many dealers around?

I live in eastern On near the Quebec boarder.
It is not really the dealer that is at fault I think it is just the process! The dealer does what Harley Service Reps tell them to do, no more no less. It is just frustrating to keep taking the bike back and forth when they want to check something else and haven't fixed the problem and need to contact Harley for the next step. I guess they need to go through the process to get paid.

Yeah plus it's best to deal with the dealer you bought from. Hope things work out for you.

Update.
Well have had the bike back to the dealer again. They were told by Harley to check the compression, Drive belt, and Handle bars. WTF! That would be the first time in the history of the universe that handle bars transmitted a vibration through the entire bike!
Then I was advised to take it to another dealer for a second opinion. Which I did and got the same company line. (It might be vibrating more than others but it is normal!) What a load of BS! Harley refuses to pay the dealer to check the crank run out.

So I am going to have to pay the dealer to tear the bike apart and check the crankshaft run out and the transmission shaft run out on a brand new motorcycle that is still under full warranty!

You better hope the runout is over  .012 or you're wasting your cash.

I think I'd spend the cash on a lawyer instead.  Obviously the dealerships up there are every bit as bad as the ones down in the US, and dealing with H-D is the same as well.  If there is an obvious and severe difference in your bike from all the others, you shouldn't have to pay to prove diddly squat.

I agree they should be paying to check the crank to see if it is out. And yes the vibration is ridicules at 3000 rpm.
But I can't ride the bike the way it is. It is going to cause damage to the engine if left unresolved.

It's a shame we have to consider using the "scorched earth" approach with HD and its dealers, but when they won't investigate an obvious problem, that may be all that's left.  Does Canada have the equivalent of our lemon law?  If so, as grc said, an attorney might be the best bet.

If no lemon law or resolution, gotta hope it breaks soon so you can show HD that it was IOTTMCO (intuitively obvious to the most casual observer).  Make sure it has sufficient oil, tranny fluid, and primary fluid that they can't blame you.

Anybody know if the ECU on CAN-BUS bikes stores the operating parameters (throttle position, gear, etc.) from the engine's last XX minutes of life?

I can't even stand to read this. I've followed the thread since you started it and have been hoping at every update that there would be a resolution. I agree if you have any legal recourse in Canada that you should probably start to document and at least begin to pursue it at this point. The other thing I think I would do is find a guru with a long beard and grease running through his veins that intimately knows Harleys and the 110 in particular to have a look at it. It sucks, but our local HD dealer doesn't have anyone on the service staff that I feel is competent to a level I am comfortable with and I am afraid if confronted with a similar issue I would receive a similar lack of satisfaction.

Please keep us posted.

I agree...  If you're going to diagnose this on your dime, I'd do some research and try to find the most competent mechanic in your area, probably not a dealership mechanic.  Unless you think you may be able to recoup your funds at some point from the MOCO, I'd spend the money elsewhere and likely get a more informed diagnosis...

My thoughts also!  Most HD dealers give the patented "It's normal" BS answer!  There are some great indys out there that eat, sleep, and breathe Harley.  It's unfortunate but the unless you know a HD dealership with a great service tech, you probably can't depend on Moco doing the right thing.  An Indy will probably not charge that much just to check it out.

I know you have a warranty, but unless someone can suggest a competent HD Service dept, I personally would go with ACFixer's suggestion.
