Maybe you could tell her that you had temporary amnesia and forgot that you were married...nah, that won't work....ummmmmmm, how about you tell her that you just got out of a coma Thursday morning and didn't have time to tell her???  Would that work?    I think I'd rather have two broken legs and arms then suffer the pain that my better half would lay on me for not telling her....

Well, since the ship has sailed, the cow is out of the barn or any other cliche saying it's too late to turn back. I'll just have to see how this plays out. Since she's staying at her parent's while she's gone, telling her also meant telling them. I don't think they ever need to find out. She'll agree to that. I'm hopeful she sees that this way is just better all around. I hope.

Good point, you don't want the in-laws knowing...that usually ends up with "I told you that you shouldn't of let him get one of them motorsickles, they ain't nothin but trouble anyways."  (Been there, done that before)  That might be your saving grace for not telling her sooner...at least that can be your story and stick to it.

You've got your excuse, Chuck...the in laws didn't need to know, and there was no way for you to tell Pinkie without them knowing something was up.
