YEP

Plus tax
Freight
Minimum charge.
Just like everything else, know your cost before you dive in.

I'll let the MoCo fix mine, thankee.  It's a principle thing with me.  I refuse to pay more then a quarter of the price of my SEUC by getting a new engine.  The MoCo screwed this up, they can fix it.   I've got the w-----ty and the 7-year ESP, and I'll keep using that, if necessary until they get it right.  To each his/her own.  If replacing/rebuilding the engine is what you decide is best for you, then that's what's best for you and you should run with that.  What was best for me was to buy another ride.  If the Jester has to go back into the shop again to get this right, then she'll go back into the shop.  I'll just ride the Street Glide until she comes back; at least I'm not without a ride if/when the Jester goes back in.   Granted, that's not an option that a lot of folks have either.  It's a tough choice, but it has to be the choice that works best for you.  i'm not pointing this rant at anyone in particular, so please, nobody take offense to it.

I'm getting a real bad feeling and I hope I'm dead wrong on this one.

In my mind, the only logical thing for the MoCo to do would be to fix the real problem, the cylinders. I've now got a sneaky suspicion that the parts-program we've been waiting for may be nothing more than the "B" gasket and some new o-rings.

Gawd, I hope this ain't so, but I'm not feeling so confident we're looking at fixed jugs anymore.

 :(

My source's source has retired which means the information flow has been disrupted. Looks like I'm heading back into the dark with all of the other mushrooms.

:indian_chief:
Right you are chief.  In addition to the new 'B' head gasket there are new 'square' cylinder base gaskets and new ACRs but I have it under good authority that there is 'more to come.'  So I'm being patient and confident that the cylinder issue will/is being addressed.  I was told that all 110 owners will be notified by mail.

 :nixweiss:

I bought it earlier this year for $65. Mostly paying $82 though. 3,000# test mix, red rock, just for footings rough work etc. BUT, so far this year I've probably bought 5,000 yards.

That was one of my many options...
I need to purchase/borrow a dremel/grinder/drill to get it done.

Dumbchit me had the opportunity to get a dremel for free once and turned it down thinking I'd never need/use one. :'(

Ok, here's the deal since so many of you want me to have this piece of chrome that I don't want......

Anyone that is bothered by my Ugly Hinges can purchase an extra pair and install them on my tourpak. :2vrolijk_21:

* Fired00d wonders how many will be bothered by his "Ugly Hinges" now. :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:
