Ride the heck out of it and don't look back, unless you smell oil dripping on the exhaust.   ;)

Seriously, the 7 year extended warranty is a pretty good insurance policy and can be had at a nice discount if you shop. That'll give you some peace of mind.

Hello, I haven't been a member here long, but I have noticed a lot of negative comments about the 110. Stop it, you guys are scaring the hell out of me. I just purchased a 09 CVO Ultra Classic, haven't rode it yet due to weather and I am already afraid of its dependability. Maybe I should have kept my 08 ultra! My excitement of purchasing the CVO is being replaced with a nagging feeling I shouldn't be feeling after paying over 35k cash for a bike. Are they really that bad? Do they overheat a lot, do they really have bad cranks, valve train and other issues. Does this mean I will probally spend more time on my Heritage waiting for my CVO that will be in and out of th shop?  HELP......My Wife is gonna kill Me the first time it has a problem...........( she wanted me to wait till 2011)

I can't find it, but there is a thread on here titled something like "What do you like about your bike?"  I think if you read that thread, it will make all the fear go away.  I also joined this forum immediately after picking up my 09 SEUC ( red/maroon...the fastest color) and started reading about the problems with the 07 and 08 and started wondering what's it going to be for the 09's.  I think the biggest problem you will encounter is which accessories to put on your bike, what order to put them on, and where all the money is going to come from to fund this obsession.  It's worth owning the bike just for a reason to be a member of this forum...take advantage of this because there is a wealth of information and great people here.  I've been on a lot of forums in the past and this one is absolutely top notch.  Congrats on the bike too!

I hear ya!  Went through the same thing.  Just remember more of the negatives are reported than the positives.  If you look hard enough you'll find that the positives well out weigh the negatives.

I hope so....

My bike was delivered the day before Christmas - I managed to put ONE mile on it, due to the snow.......ice, etc...

Can't wait for Spring, but the negative thoughts do come to mind, as this site has enough negative comments about the 110.

Don't sweat it.  You have a great bike, ride it and enjoy it.  If it needs attention, you have the warranty.  My 07 runs great and I've enjoyed every mile I've put on it and I wouldn't hesitate to take it coast to coast.  Just enjoy the ride and stop worrying about it.  JMO   ;)

If it's what you want...go for it.  You won't regret it.  I have one of the earlier 110's and don't regret it...so stop worrying and start buying. :)   :2vrolijk_21:

Good to see some positive comments on the 110, I too have had the worry thoughts. I am paying 35k for a beautiful machine and do not expect any major problems. Joining the elite family and having to wait many months for the anticipated arrival. Can not wait for some scenic touring rides and making new friends. ;)

I had the same fear. I think the 110 issues for the most part are behind the MOCO. Buy it, ride it. Thats what I am doing. Life is to short, have fun!!!

We had an 07 110" didn't bother me, we traded it on an 09 FLTRSE so we will see if it is better. It never bothered me in the new purchase. The bike is outstanding. buy buy buy

I have had mine for two years and works beautiful!!!!. It has over 7,000 miles. Once I received the letter from Harley I went to the dealer and they did the factory adjustments and it is working perfectly. I used to have a 103 FatBoy CVO and I'm equally pleased. I love the torque and power it generates.

Its human nature to complain!!! That just the way most of us are. It can be the nicest day in the world and your going to hear somebody complain about it. :)
