Just clicked on the link to that dealership. And while it is GREAT they are a shop that is standing up and working diligently and proactively on the paint issue when others have not, the TOP banner of the home page of their website illustrates one of my pet peeves about Harley shops.
It read something like "Jims Harley, we specialize in collectibles."
Aren't they supposed to specialize in the sales, service and support of motorcycles?
It truly is the case that for some shops any more the bikes are ancillary to the boutique store bullchit. This dealership may not, and sounds not to be, that way. But for some, and more and more all the time, that reversal of priorities is real. When that happens it's no wonder there are so many stories of riders having poor or difficult service on their motorcycles or sales experiences that bespeak shop arrogance rather than sales/consumer collegiality. Be interested in a jacket or a figurine and your service will be exemplary though.
