I built a really bad azz, electra-glide, I'm really, really.... bad, second gear wheels up, as soon as I was almost finished with it, someone gave me all the money I had in it, for it, about 40k. it was scary to ride sometimes and leaked oil from the extreme compression from day one (this is something I didn't like). I went into the dealership after the sale and saw the 2009 Yellow Pearl SERG, figuring I would just by a brand new bike and modify it a little.... once again. The dealers had begun to let you ride the bikes that you were thinking of buying, especially if you had cash, and I rode the SERG.....end of deal, no buying a regular bike and customizing it and it still being worth what a stock one was, I got lucky one time and the performance on these 110 are respectful right out of the box, I've still done quite a bit to the SERG, but have left the internal components alone with the exception of the cams and some light port work......man I'm in Heaven

Lust, money, opportunity. Haven't bought it yet, but in days...
The wife is the one who tells me, once you buy the bike, do YOUR stuff to it, it'll cost you the same.
Almost picked up a pure white SG about 18 months before and then backed out. Decided to take a chill pill. Felt the need for a new bagger but they just never seemed to sit right... finally decided that I would do a Victory Vision, when we were at the local dealer in August and saw the convertible and I was impressed having an '07 Deluxe (now sold). That's when I found out that they had released the SG as a CVO. Couple of weeks later I went down to another dealer to check out a Concord (blue is my color) and once I sat on it I was sold... been waiting for my Spiced Rum since the next day.
Test rode a TS several weeks ago and I know this was the right decision.... so does the $3K and growing parts stash in my garage!

The wife, she's all over this and while I get on about the amount of money, she the one who says to push on and get it... you only live once!

There is not a ton of big stuff to add, only about a half tone of little things.  I'm all about the heated seat and grips, gps is a disappointment so I do have to add my own, XM is great ~ or will be when I get it activated.  Limited production is a huge plus...  but what really pushed me over the edge was (for me) they finally hit a color I just could not pass up.  Besides I loved owning an "Ultra of Ultras", or an Ultra Ultra as my wife calls it!

:orange: I bought my 09 SERG after my 04 Softail Heritage Classic and doing all the engine build and conversion to make it a hardbagger with fairing.  Just didn't have the same feeling as the SERG.  Looked at an 08 Sunglo Red RG but waited and then when the 09 SERG came out I pulled the trigger and have not been disappointed since.  Got lots of goodies for it and looking forward to the long road ahead of riding it!  Big plus the wife loves it and enjoys it just as much!  It is a win win situation for us!   :orange:

In 08 I went into the local dealer and saw the SERK 105 anniversary limited edition and feel in love with it. My wife did as well so I bought it, but I had to give up my sporty (no problem with that).  I love the CVOs so much, I told my wife if I saw the 10 SE Fat Bob in pewter with the grind I couldn't walk away without getting it. She laughed at me for saying that. I now have two CVOs. I just picked up the SE Fat Bob. She was away for the week on business travel when I got it. I told her I was going to do it. Isn't that enough notice?  ;D
