I haven't spent near as much on my SEEG as previous Ultra Classics, Heritage, Low Riders, etc.

I did the A/C and exhaust but did not do the race Tuner. Will that make a big difference?

It is actually not a good idea to do the AC and exhaust without doing something that will let you remap the bike.  Either load a Stage I download or a RT or a PCIII or one of the several other devices that will let you tweak the fuel supply.  If not you'll be running considerably too lean.

Needless to say, don't ever put a wrench in my hand, I know nuthin! I did not think I did it but I remember the H-D dealer charging me a remaping fee when he did the A/C and exhaust. Does that mean I should be ok. It seems to run great.

MJ, hopefully that means they loaded the Stage I chip.  That would also mean that your rev limiter got raised.  Have you notice how high you can spin the tach?  That'd give you a clue as to whether the chip was loaded or not.  If you're not sure it is worth a call to the shop to ask them though.  You'd really not want to be running around that lean even if the bike did "feel" ok.  It likely would not feel ok if the remap hadn't been done.  But the one thing that is for sure on these things is that you can never be sure they'll behave the same way twice in a row.

Well guys I had to replace my right side bag as it fell off going down the road lost both pins. and away it went a 1235.00 lesson.   It only took 4 weeks to get the Cherry bag in.  Eric S at Chicago Harley has been great to deal with :)   He is only there on Saturdays as he is helping to setup their new store, so if you need parts and want the right ones ask for him.

BAD NEWS:

Currently the bike that was going to be used for the Zippers Testing is in the shop for 10,500 dollars worth of damage done to it.   My wife is ok, but she and the bike were rear ended and went down.   They told us the Pumpkin Sheet Metal will take 14 days to get.  They said the parts were in stock vs. the normal 56 days.   All the other parts for replacement are in just waiting on sheet metal.

The items that were damaged were the Front Fairing, both lowers, both rear bags and fender.   6 pieces all from the same bike not sure if it helps to get them moved up in line or if they really were on the floor.   Until the parts are in I have to put off the tests.   We may be able to use my buddies 03 SERK we will have to see.

hd-dude,

Thanks, she is still on a crutch and an ankle brace, but the good news is that the MRI's were negative so now its just a healing process of bone bruises and such.

She is looking forward to having the pumpkin back :)
